Compensation and Benefits Manager manages the design, implementation, administration, communication, and ongoing evaluation of the organization's compensation and benefits programs, policies, and procedures. Ensures that compensation and benefits programs support the organization's business objectives and meet all legal requirements. Being a Compensation and Benefits Manager develops and manages compensation and benefits budgets. Oversees compensation processes, including survey participation, job evaluation, salary structure development, base pay administration, incentive plan design and analysis. Additionally, Compensation and Benefits Manager manages benefits planning and programs including health and welfare, retirement, and work life. May select and manage outsourced providers. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Compensation and Benefits Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Compensation and Benefits Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Managers will work with an existing Branch Manager to oversee a retail location and its staff to achieve profitable sales with the ultimate goal of overseeing your own retail location.

    The ideal candidate will be sales and team-oriented, display strong attention to detail, and maintain professionalism at all times. The Manager is a skilled multi-tasker and demonstrates creative leadership methods to motivate employees.

    Manager Benefits:

    Manager Responsibilities:

    • Leading yourself and team in a way that supports Carhops Vision and mission
    • Setting a clear vision and goals for the sales team to achieve targeted performance goals
    • Engaging and motivating the team to achieve key goals, performance expectations
    • Driving the business through a high-level of involvement in the day-to-day operations
    • Overseeing the sales process and monitor performance and execution.
    • Hire, coach and train all store staff - conduct weekly training and one-on-ones
    • Mentor new staff on standard methodologies for improving performance.
    • Manage all aspects of the branch which include sales, inventory and warranty.
    • Analyze the business and develop action plans to improve performance ensuring the branch achieves forecast goals and objectives

    Manager Requirements:

    • Minimum two year of successful experience as supervisor / manager preferred
    • Strong leadership skills with proven record of building, coaching and motivating a team preferred
    • Ability to stay calm, patient & professional at all times
    • Ability to set and achieve targeted goals
    • Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills
    • Strong organizational and follow up skills
    • Ability to work required Saturdays (closed Sundays)
    • Ability to travel to other stores to assist with coverage
    • Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license with a driving record acceptable to our insurance carrier
    • Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check with results that are consistent with Company hiring standards.
    • High School diploma or equivalent
