Compensation and Benefits Manager manages the design, implementation, administration, communication, and ongoing evaluation of the organization's compensation and benefits programs, policies, and procedures. Ensures that compensation and benefits programs support the organization's business objectives and meet all legal requirements. Being a Compensation and Benefits Manager develops and manages compensation and benefits budgets. Oversees compensation processes, including survey participation, job evaluation, salary structure development, base pay administration, incentive plan design and analysis. Additionally, Compensation and Benefits Manager manages benefits planning and programs including health and welfare, retirement, and work life. May select and manage outsourced providers. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Compensation and Benefits Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Compensation and Benefits Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.   • Premier Care Dental Management (Dental365) is a growing Dental Service Organization in the Northeast Territory currently supporting over 125 locations in 7 states. We are looking to bring someone into this crucial role to help support HR functions in our rapidly expanding territory. This position is based in our Mellville, NY headquarters and may require some travel for meetings or to support onboarding initiatives.

    Primary Duties/Responsibilities: 

    This role will provide support with human resource functions including but not limited to onboarding, benefits administration, interpretation of policies, management of HR ticket system and email box, support of acquisition functions and special projects as assigned.

    • Develop and administer comprehensive employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
    • Provide guidance to employees on benefits options, assist with enrollment processes, and conduct regular information sessions to enhance understanding of available benefits.
    • Oversee the day-to-day administration of benefits programs, including claims processing, resolving benefit-related issues, and maintaining accurate records.
    • Develop, update, and communicate benefits policies and procedures, ensuring that they align with company objectives and legal requirements while keeping employees informed of any changes or updates in benefits offerings.
    • Assist with benefits administration including processing of benefit elections, 401(k) enrollment, PTO and other ancillary programs.
    • Coordinate on special projects with HR Director
    • Other duties as assigned 

    Secondary Duties/Responsibilities 

    • Provide back-up support to HR Generalist for general onboarding 
    • Act as back-up to HR Generalist on leaves of absence administration  
    • Coordinate with broker as needed on group malpractice coverage 

    Required Skills/Abilities: 

    • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
    • Proven ability to work well in a fast-paced, team environment
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Strong time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations on Federal, State and local level.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, or related software.
    • Proficient with ADP
    • Experience working within healthcare highly preferred 

    Education and Experience: 

    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, or related field required. 
    • Minimum two to four years of human resource management experience required. 
    • SHRM-CP a plus!
