'Partner-owned' means our most important resources--People--drive the innovation, growth, and success that make H-E-B The Greatest Omnichannel Retailing Company.Do you have a:HEART FOR PEOPLE... collaboration skills to develop plans and policy with senior leadership?HEAD FOR BUSINESS... savvy to combine the art and science of Compensation in order to directly impact long-term strategies?PASSION FOR RESULTS... ability to affect policy, always keeping in mind what's best for the business and for Partners?We are looking for:- 9 years of experience in Comp / HR; leadership experience- expertise in Excel data-modelingWhat is the work?Management/Advising:- Oversees work of Compensation Advisors and enterprise programs- Manages large / highly complex Compensation programs for multiple clients- Consults with HRIS Team on HRIS process, system enhancements, and technology solutions- Leads / participates in multi-discipline teams- Advises and consults on PSP, Long Term Variable Pay, 401k, Regulatory compliance, Exec CompensationAnalytics:- Develops highly complex costing models and analyses for the Team, HR, and other H-E-B clients; recommends solutions Strategy:- Drives strategic direction of broad Compensation programs, policies, and processes- Provides subject matter expertise on H-E-B Compensation philosophy and strategyWhat is your background?- Bachelor's degree in HR, business, or related field, or comparable experience- 9 years of experience in Compensation, HR, or business, including (but not limited to) total rewards, variable and short- / long-term incentive plans- 2 years of experience in a leadership roleDo you have what it takes to be a fit as an H-E-B Comp Manager?- Expert modeling skills in Excel; PC skills including MS Office, HRIS- Advanced analytical, project management, organization skills- Advanced written / verbal communication and presentation skills- Negotiation and influencing skills- Strong attention to detail- Strong collaborative work-styleCan you...- Function in a fast-paced, retail, office environment- Travel by car or plane with overnight stays- Sit for extended periods; work extended hours
