Compensation and Benefits Supervisor leads a team in developing, implementing, communicating, and administering compensation and benefits programs, policies, and procedures. Supervises daily compensation and benefit operations including survey participation, job evaluation, salary structure development, base pay administration, incentive plan design and analysis, planning for health and welfare, retirement, and work life benefits. Being a Compensation and Benefits Supervisor coordinates with outsourced providers. May provide customer support to managers and staff with compensation or benefits questions. Additionally, Compensation and Benefits Supervisor may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Compensation and Benefits Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Compensation and Benefits Supervisor typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. I am looking for someone to do the same thing I do. I help business create a better benefits package for their business and their employees. You will NOT be selling insurance. I already have a sales team that does that for me. I am looking for someone to assist me with new account acquisition. You will be a consultant for the business, essentially explaining how the process works for us.
No experience is needed, but management or sales experience is a plus. Training & education is provided weekly. You will work for yourself, but not by yourself. Must be willing and able to obtain a Life & Health Insurance License. You will be given free study material to acquire your insurance license. We will help you along in this process.
