Compensation and Benefits Supervisor leads a team in developing, implementing, communicating, and administering compensation and benefits programs, policies, and procedures. Supervises daily compensation and benefit operations including survey participation, job evaluation, salary structure development, base pay administration, incentive plan design and analysis, planning for health and welfare, retirement, and work life benefits. Being a Compensation and Benefits Supervisor coordinates with outsourced providers. May provide customer support to managers and staff with compensation or benefits questions. Additionally, Compensation and Benefits Supervisor may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Compensation and Benefits Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Keystone Powdered Metal Company, a world leader in the Powdered Metal Industry, has an immediate opening for an HR Benefit Administrator at its St. Marys PA location.
Responsibilities:
-Responsible for benefit administration, including COBRA, medical, dental, Short- and Long-Term Disability benefits, FMLA, and communication of benefit changes for all KPMC locations.
-Accumulate necessary information to accurately prepare and timely file reports to agencies such as the Unemployment Office, insurance companies, and loan institutions.
-Prepare and distribute weekly and monthly active reports and other headcount reports.
-Calculate insurance premiums for medical, dental, life, Short- and Long- Term Disability and complete month-end invoices and vouchers.
-Monitor and update enrollment data and benefit changes for medical, vision, and dental plans in HRIS systems.
-Responsible for all open enrollment communications and processing of employee changes in in the HRIS database.
-Process payment/checks for co-pays, HIPP, Retiree COBRA and COBRA.
-Participate in recruiting and staffing logistics, to include interviewing, attending Career Fairs, new hire physicals and orientations.
-Accurately document and maintain all personnel records including compensation, benefits and training for the St. Marys location.
-Accurately document and maintain all personnel records.
-Assist in the implementation of HR policies and procedures.
-Assist in the coordination of the recruitment and onboarding processes, including posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates.
-Assist the HR department with day-to-day operations.
-Provide active input to continually improve the services that the HR department provides.
Qualifications:
