Bakersfield Gymnastics Academy is hiring for an Xcel/Competitive girls team coach.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced Girls Team Gymnastics Coach to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in gymnastics, excellent communication skills, and a passion for developing successful athletes. You will be responsible for coaching our xcel competitive gymnastics team, designing training programs, and providing mentorship to inspire and motivate our gymnasts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement training programs tailored to the needs and goals of the team and individual gymnasts.
• Lead daily practice sessions, focusing on skill development, routine composition, and competition preparedness.
• Foster a positive, encouraging, and safe training environment.
• Monitor the progress of each athlete, providing constructive feedback and personalized coaching.
• Coordinate with parents, staff, and external organizations for competition participation and logistics.
• Stay updated on the latest coaching techniques, rules, and regulations within the gymnastics community.
• Contribute to the overall success and growth of our gymnastics program.

Qualifications:

• Proficient in coaching all four women's artistic gymnastics events.
• communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire young athletes.
• Commitment to the physical and emotional well-being of the gymnasts
• A background check and Safesport certification (or willingness to obtain prior to employment).
• CPR and First Aid certifications are preferred.
