Being a Competitive Pricing Analyst maintains a database of historical pricing data to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of pricing and guide pricing decisions. Coordinates tools, reports, and communications for accurate pricing information responsive to market changes. Additionally, Competitive Pricing Analyst typically requires a bachelor's degree in business or related discipline. Typically reports to a manager. SCOPE and RESPONSIBILITY
This position is responsible for understanding all Vulcan Food Equipment Group product lines, their uses, applications, and pricing. This is the primary contact for territory reps, as well as customers, key dealers, and other influences of product purchase decisions. Telephone and email diplomacy are critical to success in the function.
BASIC FUNCTION:
Assists in the analysis and maintenance of the organization’s pricing structure and handle customer requirements for Vulcan Food Equipment Group’s sales functions. Requires product knowledge and substantial independent judgement.
