Wholesale Fuel Billing/Pricing/Invoicing Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated, detail-oriented wholesale fuel purchasing and billing specialist for our wholesale oil division, Cochran Oil. We offer competitive pay, bonusing, 401k, and other benefits, including opportunity for advancement.

This position provides direct support to our wholesale oil division in handling bills of lading from suppliers, issuing and paying of invoices, accrual of sales and excise tax and other duties. Attention to detail is critical. There is opportunity for advancement into dispatching, providing quotes, sales, and margin analysis as our business continues to grow.

Responsibilities

• Processes multiple daily bills of lading and invoices from suppliers and customers
• Schedule or dispatch drivers to appropriate locations, according to customer requests, specifications, or needs
• Ensure accuracy of all billing processes
• Manage credit and supply allocation issues
• Provide quotes to customers on fuel pricing for the day
• Manage volume and billing for accuracy and profitability
• Complete and maintain accurate records of fuel movement, pricing and billing

Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
• Experience with accounting, billing, invoicing, accounts payable and/or receivable required
• Must be organized and attentive to detail
• Experience in gas or oil industry preferred

Job Types: Full-time. Pay is commensurate with experience
