Competitive Pricing Analyst I

Provides analysis of revenue, collects, and maintain specific products and pricing information to predict future performance and to advise the company on its financial strategy.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Analyses business and financial data.
• Ensures that transactions are recorded accurately and assigned to the appropriate projects and departments.
• Produces reports, timelines, and graphics to communicate changes in prices.
• Creates financial models based on analyses to support organizational decision making.
• Develops financial plans and reports for organizational leaders.
• Analyzes industry trends and makes recommendations based on those trends.
• Develops automated reporting and forecasting tools for more efficient use of data.
• Conducts market research as needed to recommend changes to pricing or business models.
• Prepares periodic cost reconciliation reports tracking data such as changing labor and supply costs.
• Performs other related duties, as assigned.
• Maintains a database of historical pricing data to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of pricing and guide pricing decisions.
• Manages pricing analysis of revenue and market segments aligned with products and sales strategy.
