Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position does not supervise others. 

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Compile market research data to establish price points and price structures/discounts
• Ensure competitiveness in the market and maintain profitability levels
• Identify potential pricing issues
• Review new price files before they are entered into the system to ensure we are using the correct information for cost, base, retail, MAP, etc.
• Review new product additions
• Create, delete, and update quantity pricing records
• Analyze supersession reports to confirm correct price types, base prices, price points, quantity discounts, retail, etc.
• Confirm correct part status for old and new product
• Provide market research for lost sale items
• Identify and collaborate to resolve pricing and margin issues
• Participate in continuous improvement project team activities
• Other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience/Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED required, Associate’s or bachelor’s degree, preferred

• Ability to communicate effectively (clear and concise) through writing, speaking, active listening, and presentation 
• Must approach conflicts with vendors, customers, and colleagues in a constructive manner
• Ability to work both independently, within a team, and cross-functionally with other departments/stakeholders

• Ability to develop and foster business relationships
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality 
• Must be able to practice safe work habits

Physical Demands:
