Position Overview
As a manager of transfer pricing , you will develop models and perform analysis of product profitability, financial results and planning opportunities.
What you will do
Analyze a broad range of legal entity (international and domestic) and product profitability schedules for appropriate arm’s length returns
Includes analysis of quarterly legal entity financial results including review of product and non-product allocations by legal entity; comparison of legal entity profitability based upon functions, risks, and prior TP documentation ranges
Completion of quarterly Sox controls including review of appropriateness of arm’s length return based upon supply chain, IP ownership, and intercompany agreements; drafting memos documenting conclusions and other schedules supporting quarterly close
Analysis of legal entity budget/projections - evaluate and document appropriate arm’s length return and appropriate legal entity allocation of costs by legal entity for quarterly projected full year profitability
Analysis of long-term financial plan – create legal entity forecasts based upon supply chain and functions relative to management based long term forecasts
Develop and analyze financial models relating to tax planning opportunities
Manage operational transfer pricing for select markets, including transfer price setting, monitoring and adjustments
Collaborate with various levels of Finance Leadership and Finance organizations including international market finance, R&D finance, GPS finance, US finance, CFA, CFR, and Treasury, Customs and Trade, and Tax Centers Excellence on transfer price related matters
What you will bring
As a Transfer Pricing Manager you will have experience with analyzing financial data, skilled in Microsoft Excel, strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
Minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience in finance, accounting, or financial analysis is required
Manage and deliver on objectives in an environment with stakeholders across many functional areas
Possess strong analytical skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; a detailed understanding of Financial Reporting systems is preferred (notably Hyperion and SAP, Alteryx a plus).
Ability to manage multiple tasks, be well organized, and have a proven track record of meeting or exceeding deadlines.
Strong oral, written and interpersonal skills.
Must be a self-starter, highly motivated and have the ability to work independently.
