Compliance Analyst (Banking) monitors customer accounts and researches transactions to identify suspicious activity violating current anti-money laundering (AML) regulations defined in the US Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) or other governmental anti-terrorist financing programs. Uses customer data mining and software tools to identify suspicious activity patterns. Being a Compliance Analyst (Banking) reviews daily Currency Transaction Reports (CTR) and Questionable Activity Reports (QAR), and submits Suspicious Activity Reports (SAR) as appropriate. Ensures adherence to Know your Customer (KYC) protocols. Additionally, Compliance Analyst (Banking) may lead or participate in investigations of suspicious activity to pursue corrective actions and ensure completion of required filings. CNS Earned Value Management System (EVMS) is comprised of an integrated set of processes, rules, procedures, reports, and systems that enhance effective planning and control of project scope, schedule, and budget. As a member of the EVMS Compliance organization, the candidate will possess a broad understanding of EVMS processes and requirements and apply their knowledge of EVMS in compliance with the latest ElA-748 standard to provide best-in-class solutions to EVM issues encountered on major projects. Acting in this capacity, the candidate will ensure EVMS compliance by providing guidance to project/program personnel and enforcing compliance with EVMS standards through the implementation of EVMS processes and procedures.
As a member of the EVMS Compliance team, the candidate will mentor project/program personnel on the proper use of COTS applications and provide guidance to project teams to ensure compliance with the EVMS System Description (EVM-SD), and EVMS Self-Governance Procedure. The candidate will ensure the successful and compliant completion of EVMS deliverables, including proper execution of baseline change control and systems integration of all key elements of a certified EVMS.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in a broad range of functional areas and disciplines; including program management, EVMS implementation and compliance, scheduling, financial disciplines, contract management, and strong understanding of inter-company functional relationships.
The candidate will support the development, implementation, and administration of EVMS Compliance policies, procedures, and practices. The candidate will ensure alignment with legal, regulatory and ethical standards of the organization, routinely provide compliance advice, investigates complaints, and verify deficiencies are corrected. The candidate will analyze metrics, audit EVMS Compliance procedures, and maintain current knowledge of EVMS Guidelines, NNSA and DOE EVMS requirements and industry guidelines that impact the company's EVMS Compliance program.
The candidates' responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Closely supports PM teams and collaborates with other functions including scheduling, contracts, procurement and central fi nance
Supports EVMS policy, process, tools, training and performance assessment in accordance with EIA 748 32guidelines
Provides specialized EVM analysis and develops specialized reports using analytical tools as required
Performs Earned Value Management System (EVMS) analysis, maintenance and surveillance reportingInteracts with external customer
Performs surveillance reviews on the CNS Earned Value Management System (EVMS)
Provides feedback to the projects regarding the adequacy and clarity of EVM System surveillance processes based on daily application of the processes and reporting requirements
Facilitates the streamlining of processes, tools, and best practices
Works closely with cross functional teams and departments to develop close working relationships that foster the sharing of best practices to maintain compliance
Assists in root cause analysis and corrective action identification, and evaluates project processes leading to recommendations for implementation of corrective actions
Ensures that the EVM System Description Document and Self-Governance procedure are being followed
Recommends course of action for EVMS technical problems which are not covered by standard practices
