About this role:

The Compliance Analyst is responsible for supporting the formulation and maintenance of a Compliance Program designed to ensure that the Bank achieves optimum compliance with all consumer protection laws.

In this role you will: 

• Support the Bank’s “People First” focus and rules of engagement—maintaining a professional demeanor, working as an active member of the CNOB team, providing all clients excellent service, always striving to make CNOB “A Better Place to Be”.
• Stay knowledgeable of the compliance scope and testing techniques outlined in the FDIC’s Compliance Manual.
• Ensure a Bank-wide continuing compliance training program for all new and existing employees.
• Assist with the review of all Bank products and advertisements to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Assist in the fulfillment of received levies and subpoenas.
• Provide compliance support for new products and services throughout the Bank, including the marketing department.
• Stay apprised of regulatory changes, federal and state and ensure they are effectively communicated throughout the Bank.
• Work with internal or external auditors and outside consultants to ensure the audit scope is adequate.
• Conduct monitoring reviews.
• Assists with interest calculations, interest adjustments, and process withholding. 

Must haves: 

• Strong “People First” interest and ability.
• Knowledge of relevant Federal and State banking regulations.
• Familiarity with Bank security and safety practices. 
• Strong analytical skills.
• Strong knowledge of Word, Excel and Lotus Notes.
• Strong knowledge all Bank Products and Services.
