Compliance Analyst (Banking) jobs in Palm Bay, FL

Compliance Analyst (Banking) monitors customer accounts and researches transactions to identify suspicious activity violating current anti-money laundering (AML) regulations defined in the US Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) or other governmental anti-terrorist financing programs. Uses customer data mining and software tools to identify suspicious activity patterns. Being a Compliance Analyst (Banking) reviews daily Currency Transaction Reports (CTR) and Questionable Activity Reports (QAR), and submits Suspicious Activity Reports (SAR) as appropriate. Ensures adherence to Know your Customer (KYC) protocols. Additionally, Compliance Analyst (Banking) may lead or participate in investigations of suspicious activity to pursue corrective actions and ensure completion of required filings. Keeps abreast with regulatory changes, risk management best practices, and trending methods used by fraud perpetrators. Delivers compliance training with up-to-date regulatory information and procedures to develop and guide a well-informed staff. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. May have the Certified Anti Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) certification. Typically reports to a manager. The Compliance Analyst (Banking) work is closely managed. Client Service Representative/Compliance Analyst

  • RSM is seeking a Client Service Representative (CSR)/Compliance Analyst to join our Risk Advisory practice. This is a temporary 6-9 month project. We are seeking a self-motivated, professional and responsible individual to focus on compliance services for a client based in Florida. This is a critical role where you can truly make a difference in the success of the team. As part of our team, you will assist us in delivering outstanding services to our client.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Meeting with clients and conducting compliance projects
    • Working directly with client personnel to complete consulting services and discuss results
    • Conducting testing related to client engagement parameters in a timely manner
    • Preparing reports on services performed for clients; delivering reports where appropriate and discussing results with clients
    • Completing client projects effectively and efficiently and maintaining a high level of proficiency
    • Develop an understanding of client business objectives

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Exceptional organization skills and attention to detail
    • Advanced knowledge of Excel
    • Decision making, problem solving and analytical skills
    • High level of professionalism
    • Travel is limited, with there being no overnight travel

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • 1-2 years of work experience with federal grants and/or regulatory compliance is a plus
    • Ability to work 40 hours a week
    • Ability to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines
