Compliance Analyst (Banking) monitors customer accounts and researches transactions to identify suspicious activity violating current anti-money laundering (AML) regulations defined in the US Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) or other governmental anti-terrorist financing programs. Uses customer data mining and software tools to identify suspicious activity patterns. Being a Compliance Analyst (Banking) reviews daily Currency Transaction Reports (CTR) and Questionable Activity Reports (QAR), and submits Suspicious Activity Reports (SAR) as appropriate. Ensures adherence to Know your Customer (KYC) protocols. Additionally, Compliance Analyst (Banking) may lead or participate in investigations of suspicious activity to pursue corrective actions and ensure completion of required filings. Keeps abreast with regulatory changes, risk management best practices, and trending methods used by fraud perpetrators. Delivers compliance training with up-to-date regulatory information and procedures to develop and guide a well-informed staff. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. May have the Certified Anti Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) certification. Typically reports to a manager. The Compliance Analyst (Banking) work is closely managed.     About the position

     

    The Mental Health Board seeks qualified applicants for the full time position of Behavioral Health Analyst.  The Behavorial Health Analyst supports the Compliance department and general leadership operations for the McHenry County Mental Health Board.  This role will also require extensive interfacing with staff and external individuals.

     

    • Assist Compliance and Operations Manager in conducting compliance audits, to include service data preparation and review of Network Providers’ adherence to compliance requirements, reviewing clinical, HR, and other operations records onsite at Network Providers, assist in audit report preparation and follow up
    • Provide leadership, and oversight of monthly Network Intake Coordinator’ meetings
    • Participate as MHB representative in Network Taskforce/Committee meetings
    • Assist Compliance Operations Manager in researching Evidence-Based Practices (EBPs)
    • Assist Contract Management Specialist in processing affidavits and recording funding utilization
    • Serve as Subject Matter Expert and Clinical best practices resource for Network Providers

     

    Required education and experience

     

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Services or related field required - Masters (QMHP) preferred

     

    Experience

     

    • 3-4 years of responsible human services experience required. Familiarity with Illinois I/DD regulatory requirements preferred.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office- Required

     

    LICENSE:

     

    • Must possess a valid driver's license and certificate of current auto insurance
