About the Opportunity We are looking for a highly motivated Compliance and SOX Analyst to manage, monitor and report on the risk-based compliance efforts in the Corporate Accounting functions as they relate to the internal controls over financial reporting and other compliance activities. In this role you would gather and collate information, perform analysis, and prepare reports that support the needs of Bank management, the District and the System work efforts related to risk management, compliance, and SOX activities. In addition, you will either complete internal control testing or review internal controls testing performed by others to evaluate the operational effectiveness of the controls over financial reporting and/or compliance with applicable policies. As part of the embedded compliance function, you will provide consultative support to Corporate Accounting functions in alignment with our evolving risk environment.
What You Will Do: - Support the business line with the planning, execution, and review of testing for SOX as well as other compliance activities.
- Manage the development and facilitation of Corporate Accounting risk and fraud assessments, analyzing the results of the assessments, and tracking and reporting on progress of risk mitigation plans.
- Lead and execute compliance testing, process analyses, gap identification and remediation in alignment with organizational compliance framework.
- Maintain and use data in the Bank's Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) application to support analyses.
- With minimal supervision, prepares comprehensive written talking notes, presentations, and analyses for functional leadership.
- May be engaged in District and System workgroups, committees, and project teams.
- Be an expert to business lines as a risk and controls specialist for ad hoc projects.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications: - A Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related discipline, such as finance, mathematics, etc.
- Minimum 3 -5 years of relevant work experience
- Strong knowledge of risk mitigation methodologies, processes, and procedures of related specialty
- Relevant experience working closely with a variety of different levels of constituents, including senior leadership.
- Strong analytical ability and attention to detail
- Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to provide clear and concise information and/or instruction to key stakeholders.
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint along with various other online applications, as needed for the role.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with internal and external stakeholders including Federal Reserve System staff.

- Intermediate Analyst hiring range: $63,800 - $87,670
- Senior Analyst hiring range: $83,600 - $114,950
