Compliance Analyst (Banking) monitors customer accounts and researches transactions to identify suspicious activity violating current anti-money laundering (AML) regulations defined in the US Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) or other governmental anti-terrorist financing programs. Uses customer data mining and software tools to identify suspicious activity patterns. Being a Compliance Analyst (Banking) reviews daily Currency Transaction Reports (CTR) and Questionable Activity Reports (QAR), and submits Suspicious Activity Reports (SAR) as appropriate. Ensures adherence to Know your Customer (KYC) protocols. Additionally, Compliance Analyst (Banking) may lead or participate in investigations of suspicious activity to pursue corrective actions and ensure completion of required filings. Keeps abreast with regulatory changes, risk management best practices, and trending methods used by fraud perpetrators. Delivers compliance training with up-to-date regulatory information and procedures to develop and guide a well-informed staff. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. May have the Certified Anti Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) certification. Typically reports to a manager. The Compliance Analyst (Banking) work is closely managed. Deposit Operations seeks a self-motivated individual to join our team.
Summary:
The specialist provides product support by maintaining a subject matter expert knowledge level of Remote Deposit Capture (RDC). The specialist will also provide back-up support for consumer and business facing Internet based and card products. The scheduled work hours for this position are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned that are reasonably within the scope of the position.
· Remote Deposit Capture (RDC)
o New customer setup and support.
· Back-up support for:
o Commercial Credit Cards
o Retail Digital Banking
o Digital Business Banking
o Debit Card Products
o Debit Card Disputes
o Mobile Deposit
o Retail, Treasury and Customer Service support provided via; phone, chat, email and Case Management
· Other Duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience
Associate’s degree or higher is preferred; Six months to one year related experience and/or training required in area of Online Services support experience recommended. Previous banking experience preferred.

Excellent organizational skills are a must. Requires ability to communicate effectively and clearly (both written and verbally); Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Mathematical Skills
Requires ability to perform basic mathematical calculations; add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Must also possess the ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability
Requires ability to use good judgment in making routine and complex decisions; Must be goal oriented and able to achieve individual goals as well as work as a team player to achieve departmental and/or Bank goals; Flexibility is necessary with the ability to adapt in an ever-changing environment.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be proficient in all Microsoft Office programs, with an ability to quickly learn other bank related programs
