Compliance Analyst (Banking), Sr. jobs in Baton Rouge, LA
Compliance Analyst (Banking), Sr. monitors customer accounts and researches transactions to identify suspicious activity violating current anti-money laundering (AML) regulations defined in the US Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) or other governmental anti-terrorist financing programs. Uses customer data mining and software tools to identify suspicious activity patterns. Being a Compliance Analyst (Banking), Sr. reviews daily Currency Transaction Reports (CTR) and Questionable Activity Reports (QAR), and submits Suspicious Activity Reports (SAR) as appropriate. Ensures adherence to Know your Customer (KYC) protocols. Additionally, Compliance Analyst (Banking), Sr. may lead or participate in investigations of suspicious activity to pursue corrective actions and ensure completion of required filings. Keeps abreast with regulatory changes, risk management best practices, and trending methods used by fraud perpetrators. Delivers compliance training with up-to-date regulatory information and procedures to develop and guide a well-informed staff. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. May have the Certified Anti Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) certification. Typically reports to a manager. The Compliance Analyst (Banking), Sr. occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. We are seeking a Compliance Analyst (Data Processor) to support LDAR functions in Sulphur, LA or Calvert City, KY.
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
The Data Processor is responsible for ensuring the schedule for monitoring is accurate.
They must have a thorough understanding of regulatory requirements for each regulation that applies to each site managed and ensures that compliance is met weekly and monthly.
The Data Processor will generate monthly and semi-annual reports that are submitted to clients and agencies.
They are also responsible for making changes to the databases that are being managed.
They will attend weekly group meetings, as well as monthly meetings with project managers to ensure all monitoring has been completed.
The Data Processor will also work with clients and project managers on special projects
Minimum Requirements:
High School diploma required, prefer Associates or Bachelor's degree
Experience not necessary, but it is preferred to have a basic understanding of LDAR
Skilled with Microsoft Office products
Highly computer literate
Client Service oriented and deadline driven
Detail oriented
Must pass a rigorous background check and drug test.
Technical Requirements:
Must have effective and clear communication skills
Knowledge of LDAR databases is preferred
Knowledge and understanding of air regulations (both state and federal)
Other Miscellaneous Qualities:
Must be organized and able to prioritize responsibilities
Must be detail oriented and able to follow directions
Must be able to work well with others
Must be able to learn quickly
