Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Compliance Officer to join our team. As a Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring that our organization operates in accordance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. Your role will involve developing and implementing compliance policies and procedures, conducting audits and inspections, and providing training to employees. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in compliance, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures to ensure adherence to applicable laws and regulations
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas of non-compliance
- Investigate and resolve compliance issues, including conducting root cause analysis
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address compliance concerns and develop corrective action plans
- Provide training to employees on compliance-related topics
- Monitor changes in laws and regulations that may impact the organization's compliance requirements
- Prepare reports on compliance activities for management review
- Maintain accurate records of compliance activities

Experience:
- Certification, associate or bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Health)
- Proven experience working in a compliance role
- Strong knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards (e.g., EPA, OSHA)
- Experience with training development and delivery
- Excellent report writing skills including researching industrial standards.
- Ability to prepare reports on accidents and safety violations and determine cause.
- Familiarity with workers compensation laws and processes

Pay: $63,000.00 - $82,500.00 per year
