Fishkill Home Care is looking to hire a full-time office-based Admissions Coordinator. This assistant role is an essential component of Fishkill Home Care’s Intake Department. The primary purpose of this position is to assist the Intake Director with the planning, organizing, and development of the overall operation of our agency.
Responsibilities include (but not limited to the following):
Ø Coordinating with doctors to sign orders and facilitate care
Ø Contacting case managers at hospitals and referral sources to obtain medical records and documents
Ø Back up our Intake Director with various electronic referral platforms
Ø Update daily calendars;
Ø Assists with community referrals admissions and care;
Ø Assists with medical orders for faxing to physicians and beneficiaries
Ø Organizing patients charts with medical records, insurance information, and other pertinent documents
Ø Assists with billing
Ø Facilitate with billing cycles and revenue
Ø Compiles daily census reports
Ø Assist with Marketing Fishkill Home care to the community and our partner hospitals for sustained growth
Qualification:
· Capable Computer Skills and Knowledge
· Verbal, written & communication skills
· Ability to work with a team dynamic, multitask, and collaborate on organizational goals
· Highly organized and possess a strong attention to detail
· Home Care experience preferred
· Intake Experience preferred
