Compliance Coordinator - Home Care jobs in Stamford, CT

Salary: $52,000 - $62,000 plus benefits based on educational background and experience

Sterling Care is looking to hire an experienced, hard-working, detail-oriented Scheduling Coordinator with excellent customer service and communication skills to provide scheduling coordination for homemakers and companions.

Required Skills/Experience:

• Three years of scheduling experience with a home care agency with the proven ability to work with scheduling and billing software.
• Experience with customer service in high-stress situations; ability to handle client and employee customer service issues in a calm, empathetic manner
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A creative problem-solver and critical thinker that is inspired by thinking outside of the box
• Ability to multi-task successfully and possess excellent organization skills
• Pleasant and polished phone manner and demeanor
• Key Responsibilities:
• Responsible for scheduling homemakers and companions for clients and coordination of home care services for clients providing excellent customer service
• Lead point of contact for clients and caregivers requesting home care, which includes scheduling nurses and caregivers and any follow-up requests throughout the duration of care
• Work with care managers to ensure client caregiving needs are met.
• Set up and maintain electronic clock-in platforms that are used to track caregiver schedules, and train caregivers on how to use this application.
• Track, manage, and communicate attendance-related matters
• Validate any time off availability with the appropriate team members before approval.
• Conduct electronic data entry tasks, including reconciling billing/payroll records and bill/pay rates
• Assist with incoming phone calls
