Job Summary

Help to ensure that all company vehicles and drivers are in compliance with government regulations and policy requirements.  Implement and enforce company policies and procedures that allow for safe and cost-efficient use of vehicles.

Duties and Responsibilities

DOT Regulatory Compliance

• Assist with ensuring that DOT driver qualification and vehicle maintenance files are complete, accurate, and up-to-date.

Driver/Vehicle Database Management

• Assist with managing the vehicle/driver database, including user management, hierarchy updates, and helping to ensure that driver and vehicle data is accurate and up-to-date.

Driver/Vehicle Compliance

• Assist with annual and ad hoc Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) checks and work with HR/Operations to ensure drivers have valid licenses and that driving record infractions are addressed.
• Manage Lytx dash cam device installs, reinstalls, transfers, and performance monitoring
• Create and distribute reports related to driver and vehicle compliance.
• Communicate any changes in vehicle location and ownership made in the vehicle database to those impacted, such as the tax department, asset accounting, area and department managers, and 3rd party vendors who assist with title/plate transfers and registration renewals.
• Assist with vehicle title management and registration renewals as well as redirect toll and traffic camera violations to those that operate the vehicle.
• Support Operations by researching local legislation and providing guidance on how to stay compliant.
• Ensure all sensitive information is kept secured, maintained in a confidential manner, and shared only with those who have a legitimate business need.
