POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES
Acts as a supplier advocate, through education, awareness and promotion for both University Health and Supplier community. Responsible for managing the compliance of subcontracting for University Health contracts. A strong attention to detail and data analytics. Accuracy in data entry calculations and strong MS Excel experience are a must. Assists the Manager in managing the University Health’s supplier diversity efforts via outreach, certification, monitoring, education, and compliance initiatives. Identifies, clarifies, encourages, conducts and monitors outreach to Small, Minority, Woman, and Veteran Business Enterprises (SMWVBE).
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
A Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Management, or a related field is preferred; At least with a minimum two (2) years relevant working experience in procurement/supplier diversity and one (1) year experience in procurement, contract management and/or strategic sourcing is required. Excellent communication skills, data entry and moderate experience in MS Excel.
