Compliance Director (Banking) manages operations to identify and respond to suspicious activity violating current anti-money laundering (AML) regulations as defined in the US Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) or other governmental anti-terrorist financing programs. Implements oversight systems, interdiction software, and audit processes to perform daily transaction monitoring and identify suspicious activity patterns. Being a Compliance Director (Banking) monitors activity and ensures adherence to Know your Customer (KYC) protocols and regulatory requirements for required filings and reporting. Leads investigations of suspicious activity to pursue corrective actions and ensure completion of required filings. Additionally, Compliance Director (Banking) maintains extensive knowledge of financial regulations, risk management best practices, and changing fraudulent trends to develop and implement appropriate compliance procedures. Delivers compliance training with up-to-date regulatory information and procedures to develop and guide well-informed staff. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. May have the Certified Anti Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) certification. Typically reports to a director. The Compliance Director (Banking) typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Compliance Director (Banking) typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.     Our client is a leading provider of engineering, construction, and maintenance services in the energy industry. We are currently seeking a Construction Manager to oversee a phase of construction of a new electrical substation project in Victorville CA.
    Job Description:
    The Construction Manager will be responsible for managing the construction of the electrical substation project through this phase of the project. They will work closely with the project team, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure that the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the required specifications. The Construction Manager will report to the Project Manager and will be responsible for the following:
    Responsibilities:

    • Manage the construction of an ongoing electrical substation project in San Francisco.
    • Develop and maintain project schedules and ensure that work is completed on time.
    • Monitor project costs and ensure that work is completed within budget.
    • Coordinate with the project team, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure that work is completed to the required specifications.
    • Ensure that all work is completed safely and in accordance with applicable codes and regulations.
    • Manage and supervise the construction team to ensure that work is completed efficiently and effectively.
    • Review and approve subcontractor invoices and change orders.
    • Maintain project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and contracts.
    • Participate in project meetings and provide regular updates to the Project Manager.
    • Develop and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders and community members.
    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management, preferably in electrical substation projects.
    • Strong Civil Construction background
    • Knowledge of electrical substation construction methods, materials, and equipment.
    • Strong leadership and management skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
    • Knowledge of relevant codes and regulations.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and construction management software.
    • Must be able to work in the San Francisco area.
