Heavy Equipment Operator/Laborer working within the solid waste industry. Looking for an individual who can run any size excavator, dozer, skid steer, and off-road truck. Candidate must be able to establish grades and then trench in pipe to the established grade. Candidate will also need to be willing to labor when needed. Position will require about 50% labor and 50% operating. Being familiar with HDPE pipe fusion, pipeline install, and LFG systems is a plus.
Job Conditions:Year- round outdoor field services. 100% landfill work with overnight travel will be required.
Professional Attributes: Candidate should have OSHA 40 or HAZWOPER 40 card. A HS diploma or equivalent and valid driver’s license is required.
Personal Attributes: Candidate needs to be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions, willing to travel, and have mechanical aptitude. Candidate should be self- motivated who can work both with a team or independently. Position requires to be a self -starter with plenty of initiative and requires little supervision.Travel: Job is 50% out-of-town travel (Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio, West Virginia, and Tennessee)
