Barnes-Jewish Hospital has an opportunity for a Regulatory Compliance Specialist. This role will have an integral part of ensuring that laws and regulations are being followed within the hospital.
Candidates should be comfortable interacting with leadership at all levels and have strong communication skills.
Hybrid position, will require regular onsite visits.
Previous experience working in a clinical roles is a plus!

Role Purpose
This position facilitates accreditation and regulatory compliance activities within assigned facilities and provides interfacility readiness support to other facilities across BJC HealthCare. Partners with system leaders to ensure execution of standard survey program components, use of standardized tools and processes, including active participation in interfacility survey activities. Proactively assists in reviewing new or revised services and spaces to ensure compliance and facilitates performance activities to gain or restore compliance when needed. Serves as liaison for communications with federal and state regulatory bodies as well as applicable accrediting organizations. This role requires the Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) Certification within two years of hire.
