Role and Responsibilities:

• Professional, courteous, computer-proficient and organized with communication skills, the Compliance Manager is responsible for ensuring LW maintains all necessary licensing, assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual filings, and that all vendors are compliant with audit requirements. Essential job duties and responsibilities are as follows:
• Manage business licenses
• Manage industry required certifications
• Research business requirements for existing and new geographies
• Manage vendor compliance – COIs and W9
• Manage new vendor compliance during acquisitions
• Net profit returns on an annual basis, including initial extension filing
• Assist with property tax returns on an annual basis
• Quarterly off-road fuel rebate filing
• Monthly fuel card review and reporting
• Quarterly BA incentive reporting
• Assist with annual tax return filing prep
• Assist with Ramp management and employee support
• File sales tax with applicable states monthly
• Assist with customer portal set up during acquisitions or on an as needed basis
• Review credit applications
• Manage annual 1099 process
• Other duties as assigned

 Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business related degree
• Minimum of 2 years experience in an accounting or business related role
• Excellent research skills
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills
• Attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
