Position Summary

The Federal Grant Compliance Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating WEDC’s portfolio of external grants which consists primarily of federal grants, but may include other sources of funding. This position will support the development, implementation and evaluation of programs and compliance regimes, and manage the collaboration efforts between WEDC, state and federal agencies, and grantees through disseminating project information, building partnerships, and participating in project-related work groups and committees. and availability of funding.

Responsibilities

The Federal Grant Compliance Manager will spend a majority of his/her time in these activities:

• Develop organization-wide processes and procedures to manage compliance management for WEDC’s portfolio of federal and other external grants.
• Act as a resource on issues related to program design and implementation, performing specific evaluation, monitoring, and planning tasks.
• Coordinate regularly with granting entities including federal and state agencies, to ensure WEDC’s review and implementation of federal regulations, guidelines and FAQs related to grants received by WEDC.
• Proactively collaborate with and support WEDC’s internal divisions to communicate program activities, information needs, and compliance and reporting requirements.
• Oversee and provide periodic assessment reports of program performance and deliverables.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Compile and analyze data to meet federal and state reporting requirements.
• Assist the Legal & Compliance division in other research or project work needs.
• Support WEDC’s mission through the fulfillment of other duties as assigned.
