Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Healthcare Manager to oversee some of the daily operations of our medical facility. The Healthcare Manager will be responsible for managing administrative tasks and ensuring efficient and effective healthcare service delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical office management, some insurance knowledge and possess excellent communication skills.
Duties:
- Manage patient calls, schedule, and verify insurance benefits
- Oversee scheduling and calendar management to ensure smooth workflow and optimal patient care
- Maintain accurate records of patient information, appointments, and medical billing
- Coordinate with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless operations
- Monitor inventory levels of medical supplies and equipment, and place orders as needed
- Implement quality assurance measures to maintain high standards of patient care
- Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and best practices in healthcare management
Experience:
- Proven experience in healthcare management or related field
- Strong knowledge of medical office operations, including billing, scheduling, and recordkeeping
- Proficient in using software applications
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with staff, patients, and external stakeholders
- Experience in training development and implementation is a plus
