Licensing Manager-Title 31 Compliance Officer

Location: Jamestown, CA

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Licensing Manager is responsible for ensuring that all individuals, and companies applying for a license are appropriately investigated, documented, and processed before issuing a license by the Tribal Gaming Agency Licensing Department (TGA), including relevant investigations assigned to the department. Monitor employee investigations, activities, operations, systems, software, and processes carried out productively and efficiently to meet deadlines. Oversees investigations, interviews, and determinations of what evidence is needed to support the conclusion of the investigation, collecting relevant evidence, case research, and statutory law to determine the appropriate course of action consistently and ethically to protect the integrity and reputation of the investigation, the Tribal Gaming Agency, Licensing Department, and the Tribe.

Also, responsible for training, guiding, resolving issues, and serving as a link between employees and the Licensing Commissioner. In addition, the Licensing Manager is accountable for the department's day-to-day operations, and audits and ensures that the licensing activities of the TGA are conducted in compliance with applicable National Indian Gaming Commission (NIGC), Indian

The Licensing Manager will be independent of both the casino operations and casino management to mitigate conflict of interest—the incumbent works directly under the supervision of the Licensing Commissioner.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
