Description

• Oversee the corporation’s compliance with litigation and IP related laws.
• Prepare or review legal documents such as pleadings, cease and desist letters, Invention Disclosure Statements, and other documents.
• Assist in gathering and reviewing data and documentation as necessary for litigation or IP matters.
• Oversee the filing and organization of the corporation’s legal documents related to ongoing litigation matters and special projects.
• Support proceedings, litigation, discovery, document production, chronologies, and trial preparation, including gathering evidence, document compilation, organizing privilege logs, redacting, and indexing documents.
• Provide general and administrative support for all intellectual property matters and related legal issues worldwide.
• Organize and maintain internal docketing systems of patent, trademark, and other IP
• matters.
• Monitor case status, track due dates, prepare docket summaries, perform investigative research, and provide updates to internal stakeholders.
• Administration and compilation of assignments and other IP-related documents.
• Coordinate requests between multiple parties involved in litigation or IP matters, including on litigation holds.
• Facilitate communications and operational initiatives, including implementing new litigation / IP management systems, programs, tools, guidelines, and trainings.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline and/or paralegal certificate from ABA accredited program.
• Minimum 7 years of experience with litigation or legal experience in a law firm or corporate legal environment.
• Working knowledge of litigation, IP, and data management.
• Discretion and commitment to maintain confidentiality.
• Tech-savvy - learning new software and leveraging up to date technologies.
• Strong investigative, analytic, and reasoning skills.
• High degree of professionalism, strong interpersonal skills, excellent written and
  verbal communication skills, and listening skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
• Work as a team member and collaborate with other team members cross-functionally throughout the organization.
• Experience with litigation, including patent litigation, case management, and legal
  research.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and
  Outlook.
