An award winning hospital in the Washington North Peninsula area is in search of a new Risk and Compliance Director.
This hospital has made a huge positive impact on the population it serves. It is known for its outstanding care and quality services they have been providing for the surrounding cities and towns. The five star hospital has earned A safety ratings from Leapfrog as well as a multitude of other recognitions for incredible service. In addition, this hospital provides care across the spectrum, from emergency intervention to minor surgical procedures. The Risk and Compliance Director will join an organization with a rich culture and reputation in the community and state.
The Risk and Compliance Director will report directly to the CEO. Supported by all department directors and a committee of passionate compliance and risk focused nurses, this person will lead an outstanding and busy hospital in compliance and risk initiatives. The Risk and Compliance Director will work with the hospital staff, educators, and other leaders to develop new patient care initiatives and compliance efforts as they are needed.
The Risk and Compliance Director will be in charge of developing and implementing departmental goals and standards that align with the clinical objectives, goals and values of the hospital, as well as The Joint Commission. The Director will oversee the hospital’s insurance programs, including coordinating claims while serving as legal counsel, and acting as mediator in cases with providers, family members, staff, and patients. The Risk and Compliance Director will provide education to all staff on compliance and risk topics as well. Most importantly, the Risk and Compliance Director will be responsible for creating an environment that promotes safe, outstanding care, and encouraging growth throughout the hospital.

With close vicinity to Olympic National Park, this hospital is close to a multitude of hiking trails and recreational areas, as well as an opportunity for fishing and kayaking if the Risk and Compliance Director is someone who loves nature and the outdoors.
