Computer Equipment Repairer installs, configures and repairs computer systems and related equipment at user's location. Provides ongoing support and preventative maintenance on an as needed basis. Being a Computer Equipment Repairer maintains an inventory of repair parts and documents status of repair orders. Areas of support typically include desktop/laptop computers, printers and other peripheral equipment, as well as basic software and networking support. Additionally, Computer Equipment Repairer may require an associate degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Computer Equipment Repairer works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. To be a Computer Equipment Repairer typically requires 1-3 years of related experience, or may need 0 years of experience with additional specialized training and/or certification. Job Description
Equipment City CO LLC is seeking a motivated, reliable, and detail-oriented individual to join our Service Department. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to learn and grow in the industry. The candidate will be responsible for performing repairs on all types of equipment. This position will require the individual to work in a fast paced environment.
Qualifications
- 1-2 years previous experience in equipment repair or mechanical work, preferred
- Ability to lift 50 pounds, occasionally; and occasionally on feet, as needed
- Must be able to pass pre-employment physical, along with random drug testing (illegal drugs)
- Must have a valid Driver's License.
- Responsibilities:
Sand, prep, & light body work on heavy equipment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
Supplemental pay types:
- Bonus opportunities
Experience:
- Auto body repair: 1 year (Preferred)
