POSITION DETAILS

The Front Of House Team Member is responsible for guiding the customer through the entire Computer Cave experience. A friendly, professional demeanor is required to build customer confidence and exceed expectations by making the store experience seamless, engaging and reassuring, all with a sales attentive mindset. The In-Store Associate is also responsible for back of house duties such as answering phone calls, maintaining a clean and organized work space, etc.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Deliver exceptional customer service
• Create meaningful relationships and experiences with your customers
• Provide customers with the best solution for their needs
• Explain complex technical issues to customers in a non-technical, simple to understand manner
• Perform automated diagnostics when creating service tickets
• Provide repair and replacement estimates to customers
• Ensure that all repairs successfully pass the comprehensive Computer Cave quality checks
• Keep track of all devices and inventory while safeguarding all store stock
• Utilize the point of sale system to maintain an accurate record of customer information and a real-time status of each repair
• Maintain the cleanliness and professional appearance of the store

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Proficient in Google Workspace
• Excel in a team environment
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
• High school diploma or GED

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in understanding the diagnostic steps to repair electronics, smartphones, PC/MACs, and game consoles
• Technical degree or certification in Electronics or Consumer Electronics
• Previous experience working at retail electronics store
• Previous experience with Slack

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
