Computer Equipment Repairer jobs in Troy, NY

Computer Equipment Repairer installs, configures and repairs computer systems and related equipment at user's location. Provides ongoing support and preventative maintenance on an as needed basis. Being a Computer Equipment Repairer maintains an inventory of repair parts and documents status of repair orders. Areas of support typically include desktop/laptop computers, printers and other peripheral equipment, as well as basic software and networking support. Additionally, Computer Equipment Repairer may require an associate degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Computer Equipment Repairer works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. To be a Computer Equipment Repairer typically requires 1-3 years of related experience, or may need 0 years of experience with additional specialized training and/or certification.     • Minimum CDL Class B license required
    • Ability to lift heavy objects on a regular basis (70 lbs. or more)
    • Willingness to drive tri-axle dump truck when needed
