Computer Numeric Control Machine Programmer jobs in Ann Arbor, MI

Job Description -

• Utilize Esprit CAM software to make programs for an arsenal of late model, machining centers, turning centers and multi-tasking CNC machines, to process a variety of precision work-pieces for the oil & gas, aerospace, wind, automotive, rail and many other industries

• Deal with processing geometrically complex castings and forgings, high dollar, difficult to produce pieces, sometimes in exotic materials in short runs

• Plan operations by studying blueprints, work instructions, materials, and any other specifications that may be provided

• Communicate with managers, supervisors, and machinists to ensure steady workflow and efficient, accurate processing of work

• Spec or design tooling & Fixtures

• Performs other duties and responsibilities as needed and assigned

Requirements -

• Mastery of interpretation of drawings, manufacturing data and documents

• Understanding of design conventions, GD&T

• Fluent with G&M code, ability to prove or edit programs

• Self motivated

• Good communication skills

• Willing to do "whatever it takes" to get the job done

• Positive attitude, teamwork and goal oriented

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
