Computer Numeric Control Machine Programmer programs and sets up CNC milling, lathe, or other machinery according to blueprint specifications. Reads and interprets technical blueprints and design models and inputs the product design into the computer modeling software. Being a Computer Numeric Control Machine Programmer adjusts machine settings to the desired product specifications, and troubleshoots and maintains the machine. Utilizes G or M code and CAM software (MasterCAM,CAMWorks or others). Additionally, Computer Numeric Control Machine Programmer tests accuracy of settings and programs. May require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. To be a Computer Numeric Control Machine Programmer typically requires 0-2 years of related experience. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Work is closely managed. Duties:
- Conduct inspections of infested areas to identify pests, their habitats, and breeding grounds
- Determine the type of treatment needed to eliminate pests
- Apply pesticides in and around buildings according to safety regulations
- Advise clients on how to prevent future pest infestations
- Maintain accurate service records and prepare reports
- Drive company vehicles to client locations
Qualifications:
- Experience in pest control or related field preferred
- Knowledge of pest behavior, habitats, and treatment methods
- Ability to operate power tools and hand tools effectively
- Familiarity with farm machinery is a plus
- Strong sales skills for upselling services
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Background in lawn care or landscaping is advantageous
