Computer Numeric Control Machine Programmer programs and sets up CNC milling, lathe, or other machinery according to blueprint specifications. Reads and interprets technical blueprints and design models and inputs the product design into the computer modeling software. Being a Computer Numeric Control Machine Programmer adjusts machine settings to the desired product specifications, and troubleshoots and maintains the machine. Utilizes G or M code and CAM software (MasterCAM,CAMWorks or others). Additionally, Computer Numeric Control Machine Programmer tests accuracy of settings and programs. May require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. To be a Computer Numeric Control Machine Programmer typically requires 0-2 years of related experience. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Work is closely managed.     GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB:

    It is the primary responsibility of the Administrative Assistant to create a welcoming environment for the organization, it’s customers and guests. The Administrative Assistant will also provide administrative, event, and daily operational support. Administrative support will be provided for Human Resources, Quality, Aftermarket and Accounting departments as delegated by the Office Leader. This position requires someone with a positive, upbeat attitude and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will be high performing and possess initiative, integrity, and professionalism in a dynamic work evironment.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • The Administrative Assistant’s primary role is to courteously greet all customers, visitors and staff and answer all incoming phone calls; determine urgency of calls and direct them to the proper team members with efficiency and accuracy.
    • Performs a variety of administrative duties delegated by the Office Leader. These duties will include but not be limited to preparing correspondences, flyers, filing, reports, data entry, regular mailings, photocopies and interdepartmental support
    • Provide logistical and administrative support for on and off site events, projects and meetings. Assists in the coordination and completion of said events/projects/meetings.
    • Maintains the MSI Corporate calendar and conference room calendars.
    • Orders, stocks, and distributes office supplies.
    • Maintains office machinery including but not limited to phones, coffee machines, refrigerators, mail meters, and printers. Coordinate with outside vendors and inside personnel to ensure equipment integrity and performance
    • Maintains the neat and clean appearance of the front office area
    • Large projects are assigned on an as needed basis by the Office Leader in support of multiple departments. Therefore, regular updates of delegated tasks are required to ensure measurable progress. If possible, these should be in writing. Quality work is evaluated by measurable progress, timeliness, and attention to detail.
    • Fills in and takes initiative in the Office Leader’s absence to ensure that the operations function efficiently.
    • Trains and provides support to all MSI employees on the phones systems.
    • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    Education/Experience

    • Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED);
    • Experience: Minimum 6 months front office experience 1 year customer service experience

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

    This position will involve time standing, walking, reaching with hands and arms, climbing and balancing and lots of time sitting, using hands to feel and handle, talking and hearing. While in this position some lifting of up to 25 pounds may be done.

    WORK ENVIRONMENT:

    Moderate noise (examples: business office with computers and printers, light traffic)

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $19.00 - $21.50 per hour

    Expected hours: 40 per week
