Position Summary:
The Purchasing Manager will play a crucial role in managing the procurement process, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services essential for the company's operations. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent negotiation skills, vendor management experience, and a keen understanding of market trends. The Purchasing Manager will collaborate with various departments to identify procurement needs, evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and maintain strong relationships to optimize the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:

• Vendor Management.
• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure advantageous terms.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.
• Monitor vendor performance, resolve issues, and implement improvement strategies.

Strategic Sourcing:

• Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and stay informed about market trends.
• Collaborate with departments to understand their procurement needs and develop sourcing strategies.
• Implement cost-effective sourcing initiatives while maintaining quality standards.

Contract Negotiation:

• Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to ensure favorable terms.
• Work closely with legal and compliance teams to ensure contracts comply with company policies and regulations.

Cost Management:

• Analyze pricing and market trends to make informed purchasing decisions.
• Implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality and service levels.

Inventory Control:

• Manage inventory levels to optimize working capital and ensure product availability.
• Collaborate with other departments to forecast demand and plan procurement accordingly.

Compliance:

• Ensure procurement activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Implement and maintain ethical sourcing practices.

Schedule:

• Monday - Friday: 6AM - 4PM
• Paid Lunch & Overtime

Qualifications:

• Pursuing a degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Purchasing Manager or in a similar role.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of procurement best practices, market trends, and supply chain management.
• Familiarity with relevant software and tools for procurement management.
• Certification in procurement or supply chain management is a plus.
