Computer Numeric Control Machine Programmer jobs in Port Arthur, TX

Computer Numeric Control Machine Programmer programs and sets up CNC milling, lathe, or other machinery according to blueprint specifications. Reads and interprets technical blueprints and design models and inputs the product design into the computer modeling software. Being a Computer Numeric Control Machine Programmer adjusts machine settings to the desired product specifications, and troubleshoots and maintains the machine. Utilizes G or M code and CAM software (MasterCAM,CAMWorks or others). Additionally, Computer Numeric Control Machine Programmer tests accuracy of settings and programs. May require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. To be a Computer Numeric Control Machine Programmer typically requires 0-2 years of related experience. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Work is closely managed.     RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • De-install legacy equipment
    • Install all-in-one (AIO) desktops and peripherals.
    • Image Load
    • Setting up Network Printers
    • Verifying Network connection
    • Asset tagging
    • Trash removal
    • Tech must have reliable transportation to be able to travel to 12 sites within the School District
    • Must be able to bend, stoop, and kneel to install the desktops.

    Education/Experience:
    Preferred:
    Associate degree in a technical discipline such as Computer Science, Information Services, or two-year college or technical school; -OR- two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Comptia A preferred.

    **REQUIRED TO PASS A NATIONAL CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECK, DRUG SCREEN AND SEXUAL OFFENDER REGISTRY & MVR CHECK** (excluding THC & marijuana)

    **GOOD DRIVING RECORD OVER THE LAST 3 YEARS**

    **MUST HAVE RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION TO TRAVEL TO ALL CUSTOMER SITES**

    **State minimum Auto Insurance Required**
