JOB SUMMARY:

The Machinist III, Machine Programmer will play a critical role in helping LR Dynamics bring our machining capabilities to a higher level of professionalism in growing our company to the next level.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• A good understanding of a machine shop operations. 
• Works well with a team environment.
• Experienced and strong understanding of Mill & Lathe three and four axis C.N.C. machines.
• Experienced with setting up each of the machine and running First Article Inspections.
• Familiarity of tooling cutters inserts /tooling holders.
• Experience with organization tools such as 5S. 
• Past experience of maintaining the machines. (Coolant oils and filters.)
• 8 Years of experience 

RESPONSIBILITIES:            

• MasterCam programming.
• Always be ready to set up jobs on any of the machines and train others team members to become efficient as well.
• Work daily to continuously improve the process.
• Aid in any of the techniques/procedures by making sure we have the correct procedures/blue prints for each job we run in our machine shop.
• Strive for kitting jobs to best suit the demands of the jobs to eliminate waste.
• Always be aware of what is scheduled, how the parts are running running, how many are on-hand.
• Start understanding the names of parts & fixtures to go along with procedures.
• Contribute to improving the safety of our shop.
• Maintain a clean machine shop environment.
• Assist the team in maintaining 22 hours of machine run-time each day.
• Complete understanding of each print and it’s GD&T requirements.
