Role: Mainframe Developer

Location: Tampa, FL – (In person Interview mandatory) /Day One Onsite

Long Term Contract

Job Description:

Have at least 4-7 years of coding experience

• Must be proficient in Analytical and debugging skills

• Must have experience in design and creating design specs

• Working proficiency in developmental toolsets

• Knowledge of industry wide technology trends and best practices

• Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals, and passionate about building an innovative culture

• Understanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, testing and software improvement

Required Skills:•

4-7 years of Mainframe software engineering and testing experience including but not limited any of the following

Minimum 3 years experience in CICS skills in background transaction processing and developing screens.

Mandatory 3 years experience in DB2

Mandatory 5 years experience in developing COBOL programs

Minimum 2 years experience in JCL

Knowledge of MQ development will be a plus

Knowledge of JAVA development will be a plus

Knowledge of API will be a plus

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $45.00 - $55.00 per hour
