Computer Numeric Controlled Machine Operator jobs in Pittsburgh, PA

Responsibilities:

• Work in a swift-paced, high-speed setting, comply with standardized work and adhere to secure work practices in a continuous improvement atmosphere
• Perform essential pre-operation activities to guarantee proper equipment launch and operation on multiple pieces of equipment
• Operate/monitor multiple pieces of equipment during operation to ensure quality production with minimum unplanned stoppages
• Communicate with team members and support teams to ensure continuous production of the right product at high quality levels with minimal wasted time and materials
• Regular housekeeping and sanitation to ensure a clean and professional work environment

Experience Needed:

• CNC understanding - Grinding knowledge is a major plus
• Design cutting tools and program CNC tool grinders
• Set up the Machine to grind the tools
• Run small batch production or monitor human or robotic production
• Maintain grinding wheels for production
• Ability to read a blueprint and utilize inspection equipment
