Job Summary:
The Computer Operations Specialist is responsible for the day to day customer support, monitoring, troubleshooting, and configuration related to end user technology needs. The Computer Operations Specialist works directly with our customers to provide support for incidents and requests that may arise while utilizing the information technologies of the health system. Some of the technologies directly supported by the Computer Operations Specialist include; Desktops, Laptops, Tablets, Thin Clients, Printers and MFD devices, peripherals such as scanners, as well as productivity applications such as Microsoft Office as well as many business healthcare applications.
The Computer Operations Specialist is a member of the overall IT team across the health systems we manage. As part of the IT team, end user support is critical to the success of the business. The Computer Operations Specialist will assist with the first-tier support for our end users, it is expected that this position will work very closely with the second-tier technicians along with the applications, security, and administrator positions to ensure long term solutions are developed and implemented from an end user day to day support perspective.

Requirements:
Required: Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field, or equivalent training/experience/years of related service. A valid Driver’s license. Experience/Education in supporting computer hardware and software.
Preferred: IT specific certificate in related field such as A , Network , CCT, MTA/MCSA, ITIL, etc. Experience in a customer support center environment is desired. Experience in A3 Lean and Processes Improvement.
