Computer Operations Manager is responsible for the efficient and effective management of an organization's computer operations. Implements department policies and procedures to effectively operate and maintain computer systems and peripherals. Being a Computer Operations Manager manages the operation of information system equipment including scheduling workflow, maintenance, and capacity plans. Continuously monitors the efficacy of computer operations, backup processes, system monitors, and server availability to ensure operation goals are met. Additionally, Computer Operations Manager researches and evaluates potential equipment upgrades to improve the capabilities of computer operations. Ensures computer operations activities meet pre-established production targets and maintain operating budgets. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Computer Operations Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Job Summary
We are a well-established local computer repair and IT company with a great friendly staff looking to add another member to our team. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable with Windows, Server and Apple systems and break fix repairs on all brands of computers.
Required Experience in:
Preferred experience in (or willing to learn)
· Quickbooks
· Server Repair, Set-up & Software
· Android & Apple Tablet Repair
· Ethernet Cable installation & termination
A great attitude, willingness to learn and a strong technical aptitude is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT. You must be an excellent multi-tasker, HARD WORKER and a team player. This is a fast paced environment with plenty to do. This position will require onsite IT, cable installation, computer repair and diagnosis as well as B2B computer set up and networking so you will need to be knowledgeable in these areas and able to perform the work on your own. You must be able to climb a ladder as well as be comfortable in a lift. We do sell refurbished computers so some sales related tasks will also be required.
This position will be 5 days per week scheduled within our normal business hours which are Monday through Friday 8am to 6pm. Our office is in the Tempe area. Pay depends on your experience and knowledge.
