Computer Operations Supervisor supervises computer operations, acting as a team resource for guidance and support on complex or unusual issues. The Operations Supervisor is responsible for:
· Managing and overseeing daily operations within the department
· Meeting customer and company KPI's and SLA's on a weekly, monthly and yearly basis
· Facilitating effective Problem Solving & Root Cause Analysis as needed
· Training, monitoring, evaluating, supervising and disciplining employees based on goals and duties
· Verifying employee time/payroll information and authorize overtime
· Assisting in managing department workforce, reinforcing company policy and procedure and establishing and maintaining healthy working relationship across the organization
· Showing initiative and making suggestions for improving processes
· Assisting with planning and budget process
· Working in a fast-paced environment handling multiple tasks with complex deadlines
· Communicating with customers, vendors and employees
· Coordinating with other departments within the company
· Overseeing all LTL/Drayage operations
· Ensuring that all customer IRG requirements are met
· Able to make quick and precise decisions
· Work well with high number of seasonal temporary employees
