Being a Concrete and Terrazzo Finisher is familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Additionally, Concrete and Terrazzo Finisher performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. In this position you will be required to perform a variety of tasks including forming, placing, finishing, protecting, repairing concrete and tying rebar.Requirements:- Uses a variety of craft techniques and all tools pertaining to the trade, including placing and finishing the concrete.
- Operates hand saws, heavy and light equipment, skid steer, trucks, backhoe, and forklift
- Operates air compressors, jackhammers, rotary-operated sump pumps, and tampers, including all hand tools.
- Services and makes minor repairs in the maintenance of equipment.
- Layout foundations of off baseline/centerlines with theodolite.
- Installs rebar and anchor bolt installation, form setting, placing, and finishing concrete.
- Assists all crafts as necessary in a variety of other tasks, as assigned.
- Experience in pier drilling and foundation excavation is a plus.
- Attends work regularly and punctually, as scheduled or expected.
- Complies with Employee Handbook, Code of Conduct and Company Policies & Procedures.
- Presents, supports, and leads by example with a safety and quality-oriented attitude.
- Available for mandatory overtime on a weekly basis.
Qualifications:- High School Diploma/GED Preferred.
- 2 years of heavy construction experience.
- Drug testing and background investigation required.
- Available for mandatory overtime on a weekly basis.
- Ability to operate vehicles and equipment associated with the concrete trade.
- Familiarity with safety rules, OSHA, and first aid procedures.
- Have a valid driver license with a clean driving record.
- Must be willing to travel 75-100%.
Anticipated Salary Range: $22.00 - $27.00The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location.Per Diem of $100.00 daily to cover lodging, meals and travel during rotation.RES offers benefits that are effective first day of employment.
