Job Summary:

As a Concrete Footer Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the construction of concrete footers for various projects. You will lead a team of workers, ensure compliance with safety standards, and guarantee the timely and efficient completion of projects while maintaining high-quality standards. This role requires a strong understanding of construction methods, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to coordinate tasks effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead a team of construction workers in the installation of concrete footers according to project specifications and drawings.
• Interpret blueprints, plans, and technical drawings to effectively execute construction tasks.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
• Manage the scheduling of materials, equipment, and manpower required for concrete footer construction.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols on-site, conducting regular safety meetings and inspections.
• Monitor and maintain inventory of materials and equipment, placing orders when necessary.
• Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to crew members, fostering a culture of safety and excellence.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the construction process.
• Maintain accurate records of work progress, including daily reports, job site documentation, and any changes or modifications made.
• Collaborate with subcontractors and other construction professionals as needed.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of construction techniques related to concrete work
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, schematics, and blueprints
• Experience in supervising a team of laborers on construction sites
• Familiarity with budgeting and cost control in construction projects
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 55 per week
