Concrete and Terrazzo Finisher creates, smoothes, and finishes surfaces of poured concrete floors, walls, sidewalks, or curbs. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent and 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Being a Concrete and Terrazzo Finisher is familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Additionally, Concrete and Terrazzo Finisher performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. - Spread concrete to a specified depth and workable consistency.
- Levels, smooths, and shapes surfaces of freshly poured concrete, using straight edge, float, machine trowels, and/or power screed (Riders, Laser screeds).
- Finishes using power trowel; rub and patch concrete to meet quality standards.
- Loads, transports, and unloads tools, equipment, and supplies required for each project.
- Perform minor maintenance and cleaning activities with tools and equipment.
- Responsible for observing and complying with all safety policies and guidelines.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:- 3 years of concrete finishing experience.
- Commercial construction experience preferred.
