Concrete and Terrazzo Finisher creates, smoothes, and finishes surfaces of poured concrete floors, walls, sidewalks, or curbs. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent and 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Being a Concrete and Terrazzo Finisher is familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Additionally, Concrete and Terrazzo Finisher performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine concrete specifications and layout
- Operate heavy equipment such as concrete pumps, mixers, and power tools
- Perform concrete finishing tasks including smoothing, leveling, and shaping surfaces
- Apply caulking and sealants to ensure water-tightness
- Install drywall and trim carpentry as needed
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to complete projects on timeRequirements:
- Proven experience as a concrete finisher or similar role
- Knowledge of concrete pumping techniques and equipment operation
- Familiarity with blueprint reading and interpreting construction plans
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools for concrete finishing tasks
- Commercial driving license for transporting equipment (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditionsNote: Experience in carpentry, plastering, or restoration work is a plus.

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
